7th Festival of Šumadija Wines

The 7th Šumadija Wine Festival has also been announced. In order to promote the quality of wines produced today in Šumadija, the Association of Winemakers of Šumadija organized the 1st FESTIVAL OF ŠUMADIJA WINES in mid-June 2014. It was the only fair in the region where wines from only one region were exhibited.

Thanks to the content of the festival, the reactions of the visitors, but also the ambitions of the winemakers themselves, united in the Association of Winemakers of Šumadija, this event has become traditional. Every year at the same time, on the second weekend in June, in the beautiful ambience of the Royal Winery at the foot of Oplenac, the Šumadija Wine Festival provides guests with a very rich cultural and artistic program with a variety of content. An exhibition of art works entitled “ART AND WINE” stands out, which receives the best possible reviews every year. In addition to the exhibition and tasting of the best wines from Šumadija, the program also includes a permanent exhibition of the Museum of Wine and Viticulture within the Royal Winery, literary and stage performances by artists … Famous names of the Serbian and world music scene perform in the music part of the festival.

The festival is held this year as well. It is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13. As always, the place where everything happens will be Topola.
